Anca in Church

Today in church Jamie and I noticed something really cute that Anca was doing. For those that don’t know, we attend a non-denominational Christian church which uses some Evangelical Customs (or at least that is what I call them, you decide for yourself). One of these customs is to either hold your hands straight out, arms perpendicular to the body, or one or both of them straight up in the air, almost as if reaching for God, trying to pull His presence down from Heaven. This is an act of worship and adoration and is common in many “outgoing” churches.

During today’s service one of the church ladies was taking a turn holding Anca during the opening Praise and Worship, when we are all standing up singing and many people have their hands up in the air. When we looked over at Anca, we saw her looking out at the crowd, with one arm outstretched, as if praising and worshiping like everyone else! It was one of the cutest, and most beautiful things I have ever seen. A true Child of God, acting like a Child of God!
