Anca’s incredible Journey, & how young to start Computer Trainning

Tonight Jamie and I were sitting around relaxing with the baby and a couple of funny things happened. First, Jamie sat her on the floor with a pillow in front of her to support her. Anca kept leaning over and cooing at Gracie until she had gotten herself about half way out of the pillow, desperately trying to get to that dog!

If that’s not cute enough, tonight she decided she likes the computer, going after it twice. The first time, she was laying down in my lap, reaching for a light on the front of the computer. She missed grabbing the light, but did latch onto a USB cable right next to it!

Once I sat her up, she then found the keyboard and started trying to type. She hasn’t learned to send email or look things up on Google yet, but she did manage to make a picture pop up on screen and make the Start menu pop up.

I knew the other kids liked the computer, especially playing games and watching shows on pbskids.org disney.com, but who would have thought that Anca was ready to join in?
